I can hardly believe that Luke is 11 months old! And in less than a month he will be 1! Wow. This year has gone by so fast. I feel so blessed to have such a sweet boy that I am lucky enough to stay home with and take care of. He makes me smile everyday and I love how much he is learning every day!
Somethings Luke does now
-He says Emma(which is one of his dogs) and it sounds a lot like Memma. He says that, momma, and dadda, all day long. over and over and over. I am probably a bad mom, but when he wakes up, I leave him for a little while because I LOVE hearing him yelling for MOMMA MOMMA MOMMA over and over...it melts my heart!
-Luke doesn't seem to have much of an interest in walking yet. He can stand on his own for a little bit, but so far he is much more content crawling. Which is fine with momma :)
-Luke has BOTH his top front teeth coming through! That would make 4 teeth!! :) Such a big boy!
-He is in LOVE with ice cream. We have a Dairy Queen about a mile or less away and we have walked there, and when I came out with the blizzard he knows exactly what it is...he starts doing a cute little begger dance for it. He is not my child at all...lol. (ps I LOVE ice cream)
-He is almost all done with formula! We have been introducing milk for a couple weeks or so and he is doing great with it, so we are almost done with this tub of formula and then hopefully that is it!! BYE BYE Enfamil!
-He loves to copy what other people do now, when I put one of his toys around my eyes and looked at him through it, he grabbed it and did the same. It is too cute!
-Luke LOVES his dogs, like I said before he says "Memma" and he chases her around with a toy hanging from him mouth like she does. It is so cute.
-He mostly eats on his own now, he can eat just about anything. But he will let me feed him baby food still, so I still try to fill him up with veggies and oatmeal and fruit in the morning. He mostly just wants to eat what we are eating. He has become a master at begging. :)
