Luke is such a character now, he cracks me up everyday! I love the way he plays hide and seek with us and the flirty eyes he gives other women. He is a ladies man!
Luke is no longer drinking bottles and is done with formula! He is such a big boy now, he only drinks out of his sippy cups! And he loves milk, which is good because neither Jared nor I like milk!
Luke is a great eater. He will pretty much eat everything and anything you put in front of him, unless he wants to throw a little fit and throw his food to the floor for the dogs. Yes, Luke throws fits. I didn't think it started this early, but he is a firecracker! He may get him temper from him mommy...daddy tends to be more laid back.
Luke now has 5 teeth, 2 on top and 3 on the bottom. It looks like 2 more on the top might come popping through soon.
Luke climbs on top of everything. The other day he figured out a way to climb up on top of his toys in the toy box...great. And he has not only mastered going up the stairs, when he was like 8 months old, but now he is great at going DOWN the stairs the correct way.
Luke is not walking yet, but we are not too worried about that. He has taken a few steps here and there and can stand on his own. We have just come to the conclusion that he is so fast on all 4's that he has no interest in walking. But I am sure the minute he does start, he will take off running, just like daddy, and never stop. So that is why I am OK with him not walking yet.
Luke had an awesome first birthday party! The Warrenville firetruck came for all the kids to play on and they got to shoot the water out of the hose! That was so awesome and such a blast for the little kiddos. Luke was so blessed with all of our friends and family there to celebrate our sweet little man. He is such a joy and blessing in our lives, we are so thankful we get to watch this little man grow! :)

| Luke LOVES to read picture books now. He will actually sit still on your lap for an extended amount of time and listen to you telling him what everything is and he loves to point to the pictures too! Such a big boy now! |
